Also follow me on:

My name is John Artise and I was born in New York and have lived here all of my life. I am a multi-faceted producer/artist/filmmaker when it comes to music production, songwriting, artist development, coaching, filmmaking, and poetry. I also studied english and literature as a minor in college for about a year. I have been producing music for over ten years now, but have never really pursued it as a career. I simply love the art of creativity. However, I have had some opportunities in the music business when I started like landing a one year license agreement with ESPN creating intrumental jingles for various sport shows such as: "The Life," "Sports Century." This project fueled me to to continue working on music and building a private music studio in order to create R&B and hip hop music. I eventually landed a development deal for a song with rap group called,"Camp Lo," who was signed to Arista records at the time. A music executive named Keith Naftely who worked directly for Clive Davis contacted me regarding a track I co-produced called, "Shine." I wrote and sang the hook for this song as well co-poroduced it with another producer from the Bronx named Pete. The song was never released, but we were still both paid five thousand dollars for our work. Those funds helped me eventually build my studio even further. Additionally, I helped develop an extradinary R&B artist by the name of, "Nelson." I encouraged Nelson to perform at the Apollo's amatuer night in Harlem New York where he recieved a standing ovation for singing a Stevie Wonder song titled, "All in love is fair." Nelson subsequently managed to perform at the sundance film festival and tour europe, but ended up giving up his contract becuase of creative differences. I played a big role in his inspiration and even submitted several songs on his projects. I am currently looking to sell some hip hop or R&B music to a music label. I can also produce pop or even rock music as I play the guitar and have a pretty universal music palette. Thank you for reading my profile.
