Joyce Angela Jellison (Joyce An Jellison)

Joyce Angela Jellison is a graduate of Massachusetts School of Law and the author of Where Everything Fits Beautifully, Black Apple and Tongue. She is also mixed-media visual artist, workshop facilitator and founder of WriteOutLoudBoston! A non-profit organization encouraging women of color to write their stories as an empowerment/survival tool. Ms. Jellison is a winner of the 1999 North Carolina Press Association Award, for News Enterprise Journalism, the recipient of an Associated Press Citation as well as a 2000 Media General Award for Journalism Excellence.
