Welcome! Thank you for visiting my profile. A word about how I started writing on HubPages: After decades of career-building in wide ranging fields -- from radio production and magazine editing to image lab marketing and shopping center property management, I found myself suddenly unemployed in May 2009.
Now what? … Having exorcised my ambition in so many areas, what remained were my original desires, long deferred by years of working -- to write, to read, to travel, to cook, and to discover new things to do and different ways of thinking.
Writing on HubPages can be daunting at first. What subject hasn’t been already been explored and dissected ten times in all directions on the Internet and on HubPages? Hasn’t every topic already been exhausted?
That reminds me of the famous quote -- “Everything that can be invented has been invented” -- attributed to the US. patent office commissioner, Charles H. Duell in 1899!
I am looking forward to finding new topics or at least new angles to create added value on the Internet with my research, insight, and personal experience.
Each one of us has a story to tell and a point of view that make up the world. And since things are always changing, there will always be fresh material to work with.
So, let’s write!
