I changed direction again and studied floristy and took my diploma in Holland. This was to be an interesting few years as I had a shop in Stansted Airport, Essex. At that time it was the place where all the diplomats, pop stars and extremely wealthy had their aircraft. I was lucky to supply the flowers for these private planes and to see the inside of these flying palaces. Margaret Thatcher, Saudi Royal Family, Michael Jackson, Rod Stewart to name a few regular travellers. When the Queen came to open the new terminal I was honoured to supply her and all the airport staff with flowers.
An unexpected opportunity arose to go to Australia and there we stayed for over 2 years with a 6 month stay in North Island, New Zealand.. To me it was heart rending when I had to leave and return to the UK One of my goals is to return and spend time back in Australia.
It was whilst living in Far North Queensland in Australia that the “Celestine Prophesy “ appeared and set me onto what was to become an on-going life journey of self discovery and personal growth. This has led me to meet so many interesting people with differing viewpoints. It certainly help you examine your beliefs and understand other people.
Our return to UK was not our desired outcome but politics and visas etc. would not permit us to work. and remain there.
A CHANGED PERSON A CHANGED LIFESTYLE.
I returned to the UK a very different person, looking for different outcomes in my life.
It was then that I stumbled across my first MLM.. I was fortunate to have enlightened up-lines who TRANSFORMED MY LIFE. Many of the people I met have remained friends to this day and my group continues in the UK. Here I developed so many new skills of leadership and mentoring.
The UK was not going to be where we settled and then life took another twist and gave us the opportunity to come and live in Spain - another adventure. We live in a very beautiful small town on the Costa Blanca. It really is the jewel in the crown. Here I have been able to teach English to Spanish business people and this has had its rewards in giving me in sight into the Spanish culture.
ANOTHER TWIST IN THE TALE.
One day, as if from no-where, I received an e.mail from Mike Dillard of Magnetic Sponsoring. This triggered me on yet another journey of discovery:
. Internet Marketingand Attraction Marketing - The Way to Go! It fitted all the criterea I was looking for.
This has been a revelation and a steep learning curve over a relatively short period of time. I felt like a child again learning so many new and exciting skills every day.
In only 6 weeks I improved my skills from sending e.mails and listening to webinars to Face Book, My Space, Twittering, Blogging uploading photographs, taking videos, even some HTML etc. etc. What, a roller coaster so far!!!!!!!!
I now have more friends than I have ever had in my life spread around the globe, REAL people, and things are only just beginning. What started with the “Celestine Prophesy “ has now developed in to full blown personal growth and development business coupled with teaching other non-technical people Internet Skills from the scratch in a non threatening way. Because my new skill set is recent and hands on I am able to relate to some of the umpsI have experienced along this learning curve. So if any of you are nervous Baby Boomers - let’s show the world that we still have what it takes!!!!!!!!
MY GRATITUDE
I FEEL that my life has been preparing me for this TIME and I must Capture the Moment I believe that HUGE success is just a small step away. As I seize the moment I say “thank you” for what life is offering me in helping fulfil my purpose in life.
Now I utilise my precious teaching and mentoring skills to help people develop THEMSELVES and their INTERNET BUSINESS’S.
With my financial prosperity I will achieve another goal of travelling to third world countries and helping children and adults who are less fortunate than myself.
The internet used properly is a huge power for good. It can help unite us all around the world for the benefit of mankind and its future .
