Ken Termini’s professional path began after earning a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Penn State University in 1987. He started his career with Revlon before joining Forest Pharmaceuticals, where he spent 27 years advancing through various roles. His success in sales and leadership earned him multiple awards, including Rookie of the Year, Representative of the Year, and Sales Manager of the Year. Ken later played a key role in government affairs, leading both the State Government Affairs Department and the Federal Public Policy & Government Affairs Department during a critical time in the healthcare industry, including the rollout of the Affordable Care Act.
Alongside his professional achievements, Ken always prioritized long-term financial planning. At the age of 19, he received valuable advice to approach life in three stages: the first for learning, the second for hard work, and the final third for enjoying the rewards of one’s efforts. By adhering to this strategy, Ken thrived in his career and achieved his goal of retiring at 50, thanks to disciplined planning, investments, and strong financial guidance from trusted advisors.
Outside his corporate career, Ken has dedicated much of his time to coaching high school basketball. Since 1990, he has coached at Palisades and Palmerton High Schools in Pennsylvania, where his leadership has been recognized with titles such as Boys Basketball Coach of the Year in 2015. Under his coaching, his team claimed the District 11 Class 3A championship in 2019, and Ken also founded the Colonial League Boys Basketball Coaches Association to honor the league’s top athletes.
Ken’s commitment to fitness extends beyond basketball. He is an enthusiastic open-water swimmer, regularly competing in races along the New Jersey Shore. A notable achievement includes completing a 3.5-mile swim at Wrightsville Beach. In addition, Ken participates in the New York City SEAL Swim, an annual fundraiser benefiting the Navy SEAL Foundation.
Today, Ken Termini is focused on helping college students navigate the transition from education to their careers. Through his consulting firm, Career Launch Consulting, he offers valuable guidance on preparing for job interviews and leveraging the experience gained during college to stand out in the competitive job market.
