Hello Squidoo! I'm here because writers and readers are here. I've been publishing my words since 1999 in places like Hearing Health, New Spirit Journal, March St. Press, Curbside Review and regularly in Planet Vermont Quarterly and Kaleidoscope. My earliest writing was as heartfelt as it is today. My work has appeared in anthologies too, my favorite being Women From Another Planet. In 2007 I ghostwrote a burn survivor's true story Reborn Through Fire. In 2011 my own memoir was published called Under The Banana Moon. I'm a mother, grandmother, widow and artist too. Both writing and art I have done as long as I remember. I've done murals, painting on wood and saw blades, decoupage, mosaics, woodcarving and anything crafty. My acrylic paintings have been showing in galleries since 2006. They've shown in New Haven, Rhode Island, Boston, and regularly in the AANE yearly show and yearly in Good Purpose Gallery of Lee, Mass. I support autism awareness and advocate for acceptance of neurodiversity. I am diagnosed with autism and selective mutism. Disability and the arts is my passion.
