I guess first and foremost, I am a fun-loving, polite, considerate individual, and I've been told I have a great sense of humor. Probably a little too sarcastic for some, but it's always meant in a fun way. If I offend someone, sorry!
I am the same person when dealing with corporate execs as when dealing with my daughters. (All grown now, by the way!) I don't have time for games or for people who fake like they're someone or something that they're not, so you'll find that I am one of the least fake and most up-front people you're ever going to meet.
I've said this before and it is sooooo true...being true to who you are is a simple matter of liking who you are enough to BE who you are, no matter what others think.
But there is a flipside to this...some people think they have to be SO real that they have to say whatever comes to their mind. Not true. Holding back on some of that stuff is called tact and consideration for others. It would really bother me to think that I offended someone, so when I say you should just be yourself, I don't mean at the expense of others.
I can't stand random meanness or rudeness in any form. I don't believe that just because I love someone, I should have to learn to deal with their meanness or rudeness. They should simply learn how to behave properly and respect others, and that is all there is to it.
Although I am constantly striving for perfection (knowling all the while I'll never attain it), I'm happy with who I am, I love life, I love people, and I love to have fun.
I love sports and games of almost ANY kind, and I'm pretty damn competitive. But since I'm also relatively uncoordinated, it's a good thing I'm a great loser!
