I AM 43 years old from cincinnati,OH at the age of 12 as a family of 4 brothers my mom,grandfather we move to a 1 bedroom house were my brothers slept;MY mother met a man who she married a year later;Ronald her husband was a vietnam vet and functional alcoholic who had no kids his on became abusive in all ways you could imagine;Well it became so bad to were my mom would take us and leave our own house because of the abuse violent bad;well as time went on it continued by this time im 14 years old and lost;the verbal,mental, physical abuse had us feeling scared in our own home;this one time i come home ronald is drunk and fighting my mom i grab a baseball bat and stayed on the front porch he comes out trying to grab the bat from me it slips out his hand so i just started hitting him in his head the more i swung the madder i got from the abuse;anyway he went to the emergency almost dead and im fuckup wanting to kill myself and tried 7 times.THE SAD PART ABOUT THIS DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY IS THAT WHEN RONALD MY MOM HUSBAND GOT OUT THE HOSPITAL MY MOM LET HIM MOVE BACK IN OUR HOME AFTER I ALMOST KILLED HIM AND NOBODY SAID NOTHING TO ME LIKE IT NEVER HAPPEN;TO THIS DAY I AM STILL LOST.LEARNING TO WRITE AND EXPRESS MYSELF HELPS ME TO DISCOVER WHO I AM AND TO FORGIVE MYSELF AND OTHERS.
