Professionally, I have been involved with legal research, technical writing and government compliance for several years. As an Expert Witness in support of litigation, my work has involved documentation, depositions, interviewing and establishing supportive arguments for attorneys retaining my services. With Management Clients, as Vice President and Senior Management Consultant of my firm, I am responsible for assistance with a wide spectrum of OSHA Regulations, NFPA Life Safety Codes, Workers Compensation, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), and general government compliance.

As a published content, print and article writer for several sites, I have written on a host of subjects such as; travel, child development, parenting, relationships, legal issues and economic/job related topics.
I am a public speaker on areas of compliance and Human Resource management. As a Federally Authorized OSHA trainer I conduct 10 & 30 Hour voluntary compliance classes nationwide. I am a certified instructor on CPR/AED and First Aid through the American Red Cross and a member of a local disaster response team. I am a contributing Editor for a national industry magazine on areas of industrial safety and management.
My writing on the above topics is a daily process, as I am consistently working on projects or research and enjoy sharing those findings with others. Government compliance is a constantly changing arena. My part in this area has been a challenge I relish.
On a personal basis, for over a decade, I have single parented five, wonderful, successful children. As a former homeschooling mother, during many of those years, I have been blessed to be a part in shaping their lives in a very unique way. My oldest daughter just graduated from college and has been accepted to a police department in Southern Indiana. I have a son in college studying theology and history. Another amazing daughter heading off to college next year with career goals in physical therapy, and two younger girls (9th and 6th grade) who are each honor students, track stars and generally great kids.
My life experiences are rich due to a large amount of travel throughout the United States, and Mexico. As a Stage III cancer survivor ( I actually hate that word, "survivor"- I would prefer the term, "Life thriver"), I strive to make the best of life through humor. My best pieces of writing are actually rich with humor, life changing events or moments of reflection. Writing has always been my outlet. It's what keeps me sane. (That and the electro-shock therapy).
I reside in Northern Indiana, with my three younger girls, a lazy black lab, a cat intent on systematically destroying my best pieces of furniture and Elvis, the guinea pig- who bears a strong resemblance to the Elvis of latter years.
