Jill of all trades. Master of a few. Published author on topics from resume writing and technical white papers to children's fiction and beyond. I love to write, whether it is fairy tales or SOPs, resumes or short stories. I even like writing user manuals for apps and software.
I have owned and operated a contract sewing company for more than 10 years and lived in 5 different states in my adult llfe. Adventure intrigues me and my grandchildren are my favorite topic of conversation.
Day trips to nowhere are my favorite kind of relaxation. Cooking and canning, window shopping antiques and visiting quaint little country towns to taste their local quisine make me happy.
My favorite place is home. It's a 150-year-old structure I'm slowly restoring to original, as much as possible. An apple tree and small garden keep me busy outside in the summer and fall. The perfect sliding hill in my backyard is a great winter spot for a bonfire and hot chocolate after a day with the grands.
Organic eating and herbal medicine are high on my list of priorities. I'm currently researching possibilities for writing and publishing a coffee table book about local haunted places.
And... I have too many pots of stew on the stove to count.
