I am the wrong side of the world to where I need to be, the love of my life is removed from me and my purpose is misguided. I have a million thoughts flashing through my mind at any given moment and am complex and impossible to understand to some, even to myself at times. I detest people who hide behind a mask of front and half-truths. I am honest to myself and to others and that's the most important value to me. Honesty. Ninety nine percent of people are not what you see on the surface.
One of my main annoyances are people who have plenty of spare money, yet refuse to help others who have little or nothing. I dislike people who are insincere, people who judge others as unworthy because they do not measure up to their estimation of success. Western democracy is flawed, capitalism a disease on humanity, which in it's turn is a disease on the face of the planet. I do not believe in money as a motivator, nor do I consider someone successful by the amount of money in their bank account. After all, what is money when you die? A tip to pay the ferryman.
I am an atheist, but not an extremist and will only use my anti-religious tendancies in defence if someone attempts to shove religion down my throat. If you believe in God, in whatever way you see best, then that's okay with me, just don't attempt to convert me. I always feel immense guilt if I offend someone, whether relgiously, personally, or in any other way, so I am as sympathetic and empathetic as is possible, which will probably lead to my downfall.
I am not an anarchist, communist, nor do I preach the destruction of Western civilization, just an overhaul of it's values and beliefs. I like Coca-Cola too much to sway that way! I simply distrust a social system which values self gain and profit over the care of it's fellow beings. If you would label me as anything (and we all like our little categories), I would have you label me as a humanist. Even though humanity frequently makes me despair at it's own callous nature.
My main passion lies in writing, which should come in quite useful here. I have several novels at, or nearing completion, with the view of expressing the values and shortcomings of this race called human. I am pretty well travelled, though not so much these days, so I feel as if I know quite a lot about the world, though my opinions may be discarded by many. I have seen much of Europe, Australia, America and parts of other continents. The one place I yearn for is New Zealand as that is where my heart tells me I need to be. Not for the beauty of the country, but for the beauty (both personality-wise and skin-deep wise) of one of it's inhabitants.
I am a deep-seated romantic, a condition, that were I to wish for a cure, would be impossible to remedy.
