I am a Christian nurse practitioner. Our family spent from 1996-2004 in Kenya and Uganda as missionaries. I have also participated in short-term missions to DR Congo, Sudan, Siberia, Haiti, and Mexico and travelled extensively. My hobby is bird-watching. I helped to develop a list of birds seen at an Eco-tourism location in Jinja, Uganda. I also had articles published on thievery of African Gray Parrot Chicks from their nests published in Nature Uganda and Freiflug. I am interested in research and did a poster presentation for the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners on Cardiac Risk factors in the East Asian Immigrant population. I look forward to sharing Hubs on travel, culture, medicine, meteorites and birding .
