I am the mother of three, a breast cancer survivor, and business woman who believes in the power of positivity. I believe that we all have the power within us to conquer whatever comes our way. It is all about your state of mind and empowering yourself. There is a positive in every situation if you just look for it. Even a negative has a postive, you either learn what not to do or how to do it better next time.

I was really tested in 2002 when after trying for over 10 years to have children, we adopted twins from Russia. But I never imagined how much I would be tested until three months after bringing them home I was diagnosed with cancer. I was asked many times how I could still find a positive and I feel like, how could I not. I was blessed to be a new mom and my cancer was found in time despite being misdiagnosed due to a testing error. Plus, seeing all the children who so bravely going through chemo and still smiling, how could I not.

Now after years of twists and turns on my journey, I have a newly blended family and have been faced with a new set of challenges that I never imagined, but I am still smiling.
