Michelle is passionate about the ways in which diet and lifestyle modifications can support people with their health struggles. Individuals are treated as unique and every aspect of their life from sleep, stress, exercise, relationships to diet and environment is assessed to determine what may be contributing to their ill health.
Michelle trained at the London Institute for Optimum Nutrition for 3 years and qualified as a Nutritional Therapist. Nutritional Therapy focuses on the principles of Functional Medicine, this appealed to her as its' focus is on understanding the root cause of the disease and then by addressing the underlying cause, it can restore balance and health.
She is an active member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), the professional body for practitioners, promoting high standards of practice and integrity in the profession. She is also regulated by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Michelle continuously keeps up to date with current research in an ever changing nutrition world by regularly attending seminars, reading and watching webinars.
