Ryan grew up on a diet of Heavy Metal, Rock n Roll, The Blues, ghosts stories, Stephen King, Clint Eastwood and Christopher Lee films.
An avid reader he finally decided, that he should write his own stories on the subjects that fascinated him-horror, fantasy, the supernatural, World War one and survival stories from World War two. Ma2books kindly agreed to publish his first ebook, Angel of Retribution.
His first ever published short story was ‘Read Between The Lies’ is issue 10 of First Edition Magazine.
The second was a short story in the charity book, 100 Stories For Haiti.
Pill Hill Press have agreed to publish 4 flash fiction stories in 2 up and coming flash fiction anthologies.
Dark Valentine magazine are set to publish another short story, entitled Rapunzel Unleashed in a future edition of their magazine.
Lastly and definitely not least, Wicked East Press have short listed 4 short stories for possible inclusion on some of their up and coming anthologies.
Ma2books.co.uk kindly agreed to publish Angel of Retribution as an ebook.
Most of what Ryan writes is horror/supernatural/fantasy/action and war, sometimes all of the above in one story.
His favourite authors are J.R.R Tolkien, Stephen King, Charles Dickens, Bram Stoker, David Moody, Chuck Palahniuk, Ernest Hemingway, Greg Iles and Edgar Allen Poe. He intends to explore a lot more writers in the future, one being H.P Lovecraft.
