First and foremost , I'm a Libertarian. Yes, as is on everyones' mind upon hearing "Libertarian", I'm for the decriminalization of drugs. But this is just a byproduct of the core Libertarian philosophy: Government shall make no law unless it is a protection against an individuals' loss of property, life, or liberty through force or fraud.. Sounds simplistic, right? But it covers all the bases. Libertarians believe in personal responsibility and an individuals' right to live according to their own conscience and choice. (Lions and tigers and bears, Oh my!) In todays' political climate just the mention of "individualism" is a major faux pas. Personal responsibility? Perish the thought! To simplify it further, stay out of my house, stay out of my bedroom, and for Godsake, at least stay out of my body and mind.
