Joined 12 years ago from Dundee, Scotland
Completed a technical apprenticeship in engineering and have worked in various industries. I love to solve problems, not those that have answers, but those that need a solution.
I enjoy the outdoors, nature is fascinating!
My wife and I spent over 8 years trying to be sustainable. Growing our own vegetables, we had hens and ducks and planted over 3,000 willow trees for fuel. We invested in a 4KW solar array and learnt a lot about sustainability.
I am currently working on a renewable energy project that (hopefully) will enable everyone to produce their own electicity without the need for a wide open space for a wind turbine or a large south facing roof area for a solar array.
Sustainable Urban Energy (SUE) is a concept that looks at the way nature works and identifys ways to utilise its energy in an urban environment.
