Oh yeah, I'm such a giant ball of interesting stuff that just from seeing my adorable profile pic, you would never guess about me! First, I was born in Texas - hence, the giant steel steer I sit atop. But then I moved to Arkansas and my beautiful hickish accent was born there. Then I moved back to Texas, which is why again, I sit on the giant metal bovine.

I have 4 kiddos, YES, 4! They're all under age 10, with the youngest being 4. Now, 3 of these darlings I inherited via my wonderful husband of almost 2 years. The youngest little ball of spitfire and hell is mine from a previous relationship. My husband adopted her though, since her biological father decided to enjoy Dos XX more than the little one.

I've recently been laid off from my job of over 5 years and well, I'm a stay at home mom right now. How's that working, you ask? That'll be hub after hub!

I'm currently on the job hunt, which is proving to be way harder than I thought. I have a Bachelor's degree already, in Technical Writing but seeing as I was working for a bank as an admin assistant, you can tell that my degree has been nearly WORTHLESS! (Dear Uncle Sam, can you write off my student loans please due to the fact that my field of study is pretty much impossible to enter? Thanks, Me)

I'm in school too, again, for nursing I think. I'm pretty done and over with the school part but I sit and wait for some computer system to decide my fate. By that, I mean, I'm in limbo in the acceptance phase to see if my pathetic little GPA was good enough to hold a life in my hands.

Oh and I'm also in the last year of being a 20-something and that's freaking me out almost as much as the unemployed thing. But, since I love to cook like a crazy old grandma, and my favorite magazines are things like Food Network and Better Homes & Gardens, I suppose I'm already acting like someone not in her 20-somethings.
