Matt Zamudio

Matt is an editor at HubPages and manages the website Owlcation. He is from the east San Francisco Bay Area, where he reads and writes fiction.

Before graduating in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Literature/Writing, he served as the news editor for University of California, San Diego’s student newspaper, The Guardian, and published a short story and poem in the literary journals Common Ground and The Collective Voice.

Prior to joining HubPages, Matt embarked on a two month trip through Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Austria, Poland, Czechia, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France and Spain (in that order). His favorite authors are Hemingway, Salinger, and Faulkner.
