I originally joined HubPages to compete in the HubLove contest, which involved writing as many pages as possible in 30 days (I only ended up doing 5) -- so I wrote on whatever I could think of, even though I might not normally write pages on things like jokes or nutrition. I had been, however, looking for an easy way to put some thoughts online and have people read them; hubpages turned out to be a good way to do it (and I even seem to be making a little bit of cash off the ads). I like to read (and think) widely, and am interested in politics, technology, entrepreneurship, design, furniture, and (mostly independent) movies.
