Dr. Michael L. Michael Sparacino has also worked as associate director, family practice residency program; and director, fellowship in obstetrics for family physicians at Deaconess Health System in St. Louis, Mo. Here, Dr. Michael L. Sparacino recruited quality fellowship candidates and taught and provided advanced and high-risk obstetrical techniques and procedures.
At Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City, Iowa, Dr. Michael L. Sparacino created and implemented all academic programs, including preventive medicine, behavioral science, and end-of-life care in Michael Sparacino’s position as family practice residency director.
Dr. Michael Sparacino has also served as family physician for Immanuel-Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Mayo Health System, in Mankato, Minn., since 2002. Here, Michael Sparacino creates and administers academic and biomedical ethics programs for the hospital and related clinical sites, in addition to a separate clinical practice.
Distinguished author of more than 30 professional papers and publications, including topics as diverse as science and spirituality; subactute bacterial endocarditis (causes); and the demographic differences between civilian and military headache clinics, Dr. Michael L.
