A good hotel for an Edinburgh break
not a bad hotel for a night or two. Rooms are clean but could do with a bit of redecoration here and there.

Avoid unless you like prison cell sized rooms, except a prison cell has more aninaties.

Tales of the Unexpected - a series of short stories which all have a sting in the tail.
The hotel is clean but the rooms are quite small. This is fine for a one night stay but not for a longer trip. As with all hotels there are good points and bad ones.

In all this wasn’t a bad novel and it did serve the purpose of a holiday read. It is certainly not a classic crime novel and there is still room to improve but it is only the second novel and there is signs of improvement from the first in the series. I will probably give the third one a go and see.
