My husband Chris and I have been married for over 30 years. Chris is a retired firefighter and I am a teacher. We are both veterans of the United States Air Force. We have two biological children Kirsten and Rhett. Kirsten is 29 and works for Blue Cross Blue Shield. Rhett is 25 and is a full-time technician at our local Air National Guard Base. Our soon to be daughter Miney is from Honduras. She was a student of mine 4 years ago and Chris and I have been her foster parents for 3 years now. We are in the process of adopting her and hope to have the process completed sometime in 2018.
