Mirna Khneisser

My name is Mirna Khneisser I am a Canadian citizen, originally Lebanese.

Born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1954, in a middle class Christian family. I finished high school

got married, continued my studies and graduated as a laboratory technician in the health and environment department in the American university of Beirut.

. After enduring seven years of the civil war in Lebanon, I left with my family to Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. There we could give our children a stable life, in a rather peaceful environment even though very different from Lebanon.

I am a mother of three lovely boys-We migrated to Canada in 1995 in order to give my kids a good education-I am constantly moving between Montreal and Dubai.

At a young age, I loved reading, writing poems, dancing, acting and helping others.

I studied piano for ten years, and music was my faithful companion, My husband is a musician, my children are musicians, and I taught piano and music for children for fifteen years in the UAE.

Reading was my favorite hobby. At the age of fifteen, I started wondering about life and unseen realities. My favorite readings were about psychology, telepathy, spirituality and life after death.

I started practicing Yoga in the first year of my arrival to the UAE, it helped me concentrate on my inner self and have peace of mind in the new environment.

It opened for me a series of opportunities of spiritual, emotional and mental development. Books about self-improvement started coming to me from everywhere. I had many questions and I got the answers bit by bit, through meditation and insights.

I learned healing through an initiation in Reiki , as well as the healing with colors, and universal energy, breathing, sounds and crystals. I currently and always practice healing through Reiki on family and friends.

I took a course in feng shui, and I believe that the flow of energy around us is as important as the free flow of energy that is within us.

I discovered the world of angels through meditation; I believe that angels are with us always. My inspiring angels are Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, I invoke them when I need them and they come instantly to help.

Through my every day experiences, I learnt my life lessons and discovered the bond that we have with the earth. We are the earth and the earth is us. If we are not aware of this bond, we will never tap in the light. Life is a lesson that we can live fully, understand, then go forward, and attain our eternal essence.

I always loved to write poetry, and I believe that expressing what you feel is the cleansing of the soul.

My dream was to become a medical doctor and to help people to heal their physical body from diseases. I am blessed now that my life took this path as I have the opportunity to help and facilitate the healing of the body , mind and spirit of every human that has this desire.

I believe that now is the time for me to share with all of you there what I learnt and discovered, because in sharing we all become richer. We will reach the richness that is beyond money, cars, or castles; the richness that expands beyond the earth or the universe, that leads us to the infinite and let us grasp the reality of our eternal existence within the Divine.

As a woman, a wife, a mother, a musician, a teacher, a healer, a writer and a consultant for the wellbeing of the human race , I send to you a message of love and healing through my hubpages.
