I'm Moira. My mission in life is to transform plastic bags into little crocheted treasures. What else? I'm 20 something years old, was a licensed science teacher, and a good one I think. But recently, I had to stop teaching to take care of my baby. Teaching isn't exactly my greatest love. Back in college I'd spend most of my free time reading crochet and craft books. I was able to master a lot of crochet techniques. Times got rougher and crochet cotton got more expensive. I had to stop for awhile and concentrate on work. But with the explosion of the internet, I came across plarn (plastic yarn). Since then, I've never used crochet cotton not unless it's a commissioned work from friends and family. Patience is not my virtue, so I just focus on small dainty appliques that can be turned into a pair of drop earrings, a pendant for a necklace, a cute hair accessory (hair clip or headband), a beautiful brooch, a pretty keychain, a cute cellphone charm, an appliqué for garments, a decoration for personal things, an element for scrapbook, a quirky fridgie, etc. I hope you like what you find here.
