The major theme to these hubs is that there is no consistent theme. They say that you should find or create your own personal niche and stick with it, if you build it they will come, although it is a strong point, and one I won’t argue with, I feel it doesn’t meet my needs. I find it too limiting because my interests are too varied to narrow it down to a single niche. To borrow an old cliche, I am a jack of all trades, but master of none. Worry not, because I claim not to be a master of any one discipline, does not mean what I offer through my writing will be misinformed, unguided ramblings, but rather a new perspective, ‘outside of the box’ thinking if you will.
So if you’re willing to invest the time this is what you will find here. I will include software and shareware reviews including any betas I may partake in. The social commentary of odd or disappointing things I find in the news, without trying to get too political. Thoughts on life in general, without getting personal. The struggling writer, and thoughts on the craft, while trying not to be too authoritative, and whatever other items I find that strike my fancy, while not trying to be too fanciful.
So to you the reader, this is what I promise: Although I may not write something that interests you on a particular day, I will write it as truthfully as I may. I will write it from a perspective you may have not heard before, I will challenge you to think and arrive at your own conclusions. And in the long run, I hope you take from it as much if not more than what I put into it, that being said, “I want you to get something of substance and value, as a return for investing your time here.” You may even find that you won’t always agree with what I think, say or write, but isn’t that what we call the great dialog. So I encourage you to participate in that dialogue, by sharing your comments.
