60I am a 53 year old woman living in a very small town in sunny and very hot Arizona. I was born and raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I have always believed I was a writer even as young as 8 years old. My mother believed her little black girls (they are 3 of us) needed to understand that they needed to work and support themselves. She knew I was very smart but writing was to be nothing more than a hobby for me. As a result I did learn to go to work and was a good employee for the first 20 years of my adult life. I had 4 children and tried to raise them well. Then in my early 40's things changed. My children were young adults and didnt need me. I started having major problems at work. I was hit by a car crossing the street on my way to work. I just didnt know what was going on with me for several years. Then at 48 I married my true love who I'd left 15 years prior. I moved to Arizona with him and things started to get better. Now I want to do what I believe is my life calling, write. So I start here on Hub Pages. I hope to become an entertaining and interesting author of many different articles. If things work out and "Gods willing" maybe I'll even write a book. Until then I have several boards on Pinterest check them out too!
