I am a teacher, mom, homeschooler, biologist, senior researcher, transcriptionist, writer, organic gardener, freestyle or "my style" artist, and occasionally, a wood-working, power-tool-using, do-it-yourselfer. I hold a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, yet my activities are more on the creative side of things, as you can tell. In addition to Hub Pages, I write for other sites, including my upcoming website: www.naimamanal.com.

I'm an avid student of life and learning, and I find that I express my thoughts more creatively through writing. When I'm not writing, I'm reading... or teaching. Although I have a background in the sciences, I enjoy teaching and spending my time with children. I have been a homeschooling mother for over 19 years, and I enjoy it.

I enjoy writing about herbs, natural remedies, health care, family, children, healthy foods, organic gardening, home improvement and many other things that are interesting. There is always something new to learn, everyday.
