That vision took shape in June 2017 when Lifetime Recovery was founded in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. Built on the belief that people deserve more than temporary relief from addiction, Lifetime Recovery was designed to provide holistic and individualized care. In April 2021, Dr. DeSimone expanded his mission by opening Renewed Light Mental Health in West Deptford, New Jersey. Recognizing the deep connection between mental health and addiction, Renewed Light was created to help individuals dealing with conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, and grief. The center follows the same holistic philosophy as Lifetime Recovery, emphasizing individualized care and emotional resilience. Through Renewed Light, Nick continues to provide a supportive environment where people can rebuild their confidence, strengthen their well-being, and regain control of their lives.
Dr. DeSimone’s credentials reflect his dedication to education and ethical clinical practice. He has been a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) since 2017 and became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in 2022. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Rowan University and a Master of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2015. In April 2021, he achieved his PhD in General Psychology with a concentration in Performance Psychology, exploring how mental skills influence motivation, resilience, and overall well-being.
