Writing has been my passion ever since I learned how to write in grammer school. I loved writing assignments, and they were usually done before I got home from school that day.

I considered it more of a hobby, though, and never took that career path. I obtained an Associates Degree, managed offices for ten years, and worked in human services for ten years. Then I became a stay-at-home mom with four children for seven years. After that, I opened and ran my own in-door/out-door garden shop (another one of my passions) for five years.

Two of my children have left "the nest". I'm left with two teen-aged girls who don't need me for anything more than home-cooking, a phone, a ride, and some cash!

Now, it's me time. My "hobby" has left me with three unfinished books, boxes of personal journals, and an insatiable desire to be published. Starting right here, right now, I will take my managerial, human-service compassion, parenting experience, coupled with gardening expertise, and I will be heard.

In other words, when I turned 40 (eight years ago, by the way), I made a, sort of, bucket-list. Can you guess what one of the things on the list was? I will be published!
