Joined 13 years ago from California
I went to school back east. I have ridden horses since I was a child. I showed western and barrel raced until my accident. Did not ride for years but started again and now ride English. I show in dressage and jumping classes. I love animals of all kinds. I am an article writer and have written for many sites. Some of them are gone now. I also wrote for local newspaper until they went out of business. I write mostly articles about animals, history and travel. I had a ranch in the foothills of California and raised purebred pigs but I gave that up when my husband passed away.
I studied to be a Veterinarian but had a barrel racing accident before I finish. Was unable to continue. I also studied journalism. After my accident I studied business management and when I graduated I worked for trucking companies. I also had my own truck until things got so tough here in California for owner operators that ran cross county.
