Hello, my nickname is Pente. I was born autistic and I still have trouble perceiving the emotions of other people. On the positive side though, I have a very strong aptitude with logic, mathematics and computers.

My family traveled a lot and we were dirt poor. I worked my way through college in California by living in my car. I received a degree in electronics. I have traveled extensively, been in some trouble with the law, and overall had a fairly hard life. I definitely consider myself to be a survivor.

I am familiar with HTML, CSS, and PHP and was starting to build a niche website when I ran across this site. I was having trouble defining my niche and realized this site would be perfect for articles that didn't fit that niche.

I am here at Hubpages to practice my writing, test markets for different ideas, and to do some experiments. I want to see what works and what doesn't work. My primary goal is learning and my secondary goal is earning some extra money.

In early 2012, Google changed for the worst, some of my best hubs weren't even listed on Google. Views dropped over 90% and after several attempst to improve views with no success, I stopped writing hubs. Later I removed some of my poorly written or obsolete hubs. As of September 3, 2014, I have had 71,000 views and have received one $100 payout from Google.
