As things some times go, it's time for me to move on. I plan to do all of my writing on my own website now (coming soon) and you can find any of my Veterans Resource articles there. I plan to write many more, but I needed more control over whether they were published and what I could include in them.
I had a lot of fun with the other members here over the past couple of years, but when the time comes that your creative thoughts can not flow because you're having to change little things that make no sense, then it becomes no longer fun.
The final straw was the night before last when one of my hubs was unpublished and cited as "duplicate" by human review! I have a collection of articles that I have written in order to help Veterans, especially those with odds against them like the Blue Water Vets. I wanted readers to know about the other articles on VA disability, etc that I have written HERE ON HUBPAGES and so included a set of links (withiin HUBAGES) within the collection of articles that go together only.
There is an RSS template created by HUBAGES in order to include links to an authors past hubs, but it's a crime if I do it manually? The RSS doesn't offer the option of selecting a "group" of articles (Something that is also now being pushed by HUBPAGES, "grouping" your articles by association.
I would be much more understanding if it had been a bot that isolated it not knowing the difference.. but the notification was that it had been flagged by HUMAN REVIEW and that it would not be published until it was corrected and approved. It didn't tell me what was duplicated, but those links to my other hub articles were the only thing that is the same in any other article of mine.
I have messaged for advice on exactly what is wrong with the article, but no reply. There are people who need this information and i just don't want to have to continuously be concerned whether or not my articles are going to be pulled for something so ridiculous in the future.
Not to mention I won't be opening a paypal account which is what is required to participate in the earnings program. If my bank isn't good enough, then it just isn't going to happen. I already have google wallet because of MY shop, I'm not going to start opening up an account with every online financial website.
So, if members will not open a paypal account, then we can't fully partcipate at hubpages. Sad.
If anyone would like to keep in contact, you may do so at PM@pinkmingos.com. ~peace~
