I have always enjoyed wrting. Exchanging varied ideas and thoughts, I believe, are essential to becoming a good writer. Keeping an open mind, respecting others points of view have expanded my narrow world. My interest in life and it's intricacies are varied and have no boundries therefore, Iam quick to indulge myself in new things.
Writing as always been a way for me to express emotions and feelings that sometimes lie dormat. Lately my deep interest has been politics. Unfortunately, the more I learn about how our government works, the less I know.
Sometimes I wish I had stayed ignorant on the way our government operates. The little I have knowledge of is terrifying. It's like having your "security blanket" taken away. I don't write well enough, to express the dark abyss I feel encroaching on us. Watching and listening to the politics that now shape our country, reads like other countries that we were superior to because of the freedoms we enjoyed. The laws that connected our states...One Nation Under God philosophy that enticed others to our shores.
The dividers do not want one nation...they want individual states, not answerable to anyone. These dividers are advocating a "puppet government", that has no power..a government that will change it's laws and views to satisfy a few..not the whole.
We have people who are openly trying to destroy the very fabric of our "Constitution" (in the name of our Constitution). People eroding what we fought for, so many decades ago..have they forgotten?
These dividers want to take us backward...segration, slave wages, no voting rights, no political voice, no equal opportunities. No aid for the ederly, sick or people in unfortunate circumstances. Most of all they want take away education..educated people will demand more.
These dividers will create a country were revolution is common place...something I never thought, could happen in America...don't let it!
