I am a born-again Christian. I joined HubPages 10 months ago, with the intention of publishing poems I had written during my teen years (age 17-19), during the very early '70s. The poems were posted in the year 2006 on Poemhunter.com, under the name Tan Pratonix, and got good reviews. I wrote a few more poems under the name Tom Prato in 2006, which I also published on Poemhunter.com - and those poems, based on Biblical themes were much appreciated - though Poemhunter is not a Christian site!

After joining HubPages I have written a few Bible poems (just as I did under the name Tom Prato in 2006). However, most of my hubs on HubPages are Christian articles and messages. I have also started to write topical and light-hearted stuff, which I hope you will like.

I am on Facebook under the name Roland Olivier. I write Christian hubs on HubPages mainly to encourage my FB friends. HubPages is still small, and I have not found many evangelical Christians here. I would be happy to connect with born-again Bible-loving Christians here on HP.

I am from xxxxxx. I was born again in the year 1990, thanks to the prayers by my wife and other believers. By the amazing grace of God, I was delivered from the bondage of a Sabbatarian cult. I know what it is to come out of darkness into God's marvellous light, what it is to come out of bondage into God's glorious liberty, and what it is to come out of vanity and death into eternal life!

Jesus Christ is Saviour, Lord, King and God. He died for all people everywhere. He is the sacrifice for our sins. He died, was buried, rose again on the third day, and ascended into heaven, where He sits at the right hand of God. Salvation is by the cleansing and redeeming power of His precious Blood! Thereafter Christ dwells in us through the Holy Spirit, who is none other than the Spirit of Christ. When we are born again, the word of God becomes a living Word and speaks to us. The greatest thing in a person's life is to be saved by the sheer grace of God. Once saved, we are eternally secure in Christ. But we must run the race to win the prize, which is a share in the kingdom and throne of God.
