Also follow me on:

I am a GA Pre-K teacher and I love working with the kids. Watching them grow, explore, and learn is very rewarding for me. I am currently working on a liturature-based curriculum that will cover all areas of the classroom.

I am a graduate of Mercer University and hold a dual degree in elementary education/special education.

If you like some of the lesson plans, activities and ideas that I have placed here, you can purchase the books and music that I have used at Amazon.com.

I have evolved from lesson plans to activities based on the books I recommend. The reason for this is quite simply that, as a teacher, I use segments of lesson plans to fit the needs of my children. By listing activities by standard, my goal is that other teachers/parents/educators can focus on the individual child's need for growth. Lesson plans are great for using during whole group/small group learning times. Activities are more focused on individual needs and can be tailored to offer each child a rich learning experience.
