ProfessionalDesignSource.com was started with the intentions of helping people learn how to create functional spaces that reflect their own style.
I believe that there are 3 principals to interior design.
When talking about function I mean getting the space to work for you. A lot of this is about organization as well. Before you can make a room look beautiful, it must be free of clutter.

Style refers to the way something looks - colors, patterns, textures all play a part in defining the style of a room. Window treatments, furniture, lighting, flooring, and artwork all play a role in defining the style of a room.
A few topics that relate to style in Interior Design -
Fabric Roller Shades
Decorative Curtain Rods
Murray Feiss Lighting Collections
Harmony is the third element to good design. Harmony is the most difficult principal to understand. It refers to creating balance and flow in the room. This is where good interior designers excel.
Here are few hubs that I've used design board examples:
Murray Feiss Lighting - Remy Collection
Murray Feiss Lighting - Bellaire Collection (Bathroom Lighting)
Zebra Bedding in a Kids Room
Since I've started to focus on being a WAHM and making money online at Hubpages, I have realized that I want to write on other topics as well. I am branching out into new categories.
