I'm a graduate student, working on my Ph.D. in chemistry. I'm currently mired in the midwest (which is a grating misnomer), but hope to make it back to the Pacific Northwest some day.
My interests include science, politics, religion, and outdoorsmanship, and I hope eventually that I will have hubs covering things in all those areas. I additionally dabble in investing and home ownership.
I am also a voracious reader, interested especially in the classics and in serious science fiction in the stlye of Zelazny or Heinlein. I would love to hear book recommendations from similarly-inclined readers.
Although my account here is over a year old I have only very recently made an effort to make some hubs. I'm still trying to get the flavor of the community and I welcome advice and criticism.
