RacerX started building racecars as a hobby in the late eighties. After building a 1964 Chevy Nova, he rebuilt and raced a 1974 Ford Pinto powered with a small block Chevy engine. Currently he drives a 1963 Corvette Roadster, 540ci big block Chevy motor, capable of running high sevens in the 170 mph range on the quarter mile.

Weekends he can usually be found in the pits of a drag racing event at the Texas Motorplex, RedLine Raceway, Kennedale or North Texas Dragway. He also serves as technical advisor and crew chief to a Division 4 Super Street Champion in sportsman class Division racing.

During the week RacerX works as a Solutions Architect for a US computer manufacturer. He has worked in the computer industry since the early 1970s where he started off repairing mini-computers. He lives in the Dallas Texas metroplex.
