I live in the beautiful Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia, and work as a Case Manager, in the disability sector. I assist those with disabilities, injuries and long term illness identify and obtain sustainable employment. It is a job that is incredibly motivating, rewarding and soul crushing, all at the same time

I believe living with my own barriers gives me additional insight into the people I work with, an ability to understand the fears and frustrations that can be part of our everyday lives. As some of you know I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) as a kid, and have picked up a list of additional diagnosis throughout the years. I have finally linked with a team of health professionals over the last few years, and can honestly say they are changing my life for the better.

I write as a form of release, to immerse myself in a subject, and to kill time at 2am when I'm wide awake and really shouldn't be. To be able to earn from my passion would fulfil a childhood dream, and I am working towards turning that dream into reality.

I would like to thank everyone for their support and I hope you enjoy the hubs to come. Please feel free to drop me a line and let me know what you think; constructive criticism is always welcome.
