Muse. I like the word muse, the way our lips come together as if to taste the aroma of a beloved to pronounce the ‘MmUu’ and then the tongue touches the bottom of the teeth to say the ‘Zzz’. MuZzz. Sigh! what a word. No wonder great artists have produced their best work in the absolute high under the spell of their respective muses. I don’t have, like a real muse hence my indulgence in the symphony of the word itself! Muse.

My quest for a muse has been rather random often oscillating between a keenness for knowledge, an endeavor for self-discovery, a lure for forbidden pleasures and a search for a soulmate basically a child yearning for a candy (inspiration) and like all random quests and adventures it has been immensely gratifying. Simple quirks of fate and more elaborate cosmic coincidences have conspired to make me meet some fantastic people, experience life changing events, hear soul churning music and travel extensively.

I have been treated like prince and a beggar, was shot at, survived a mine blast, rose to fall again, hated some loved many and realized you win some and you lose some either ways you are better for the experience. So I decided to share some of my experiences with you via this blog “Random Musings of an Alpha”.

I have explained to you my rationale for Random and my love for muse resulting in musings. The alpha is actually just an “A” for you, the immensely powerful reader for I have no identity. You may consider this as “random musings of an Ass or an actor or a soldier or a politician or a someone, anyone or everyone”, the choice is yours. We always have a choice, don’t we? To be or not to be! It’s the choices that define our being. I am glad you made the choice to read this.
