I'm an artist who was dropped off by a spaceship in the middle of a nursing class and became an RN. Well, it was kind of like that. A particulary stressful event in my life, Hurricane Katrina, made me reassess everything and decide to become a nurse. Little did I know what was in store for me! I knew no nurses and I was an older student who had up to this point made a living as an artist. Talk about stress! I graduated in 2008 and went to work on the medical floor of a local hospital. If I can make it, so can you! I dealt with the stress of learning to use my left brain by using my right brain to create funny designs about my experience in nursing school. Some of those designs I have featured here and in my other lense - The Funny Side Nursing School. Hope you can identify and that they put a smile on your face.
