I am a 40 year old mom of two who works as a nurse in the state of Pennsylvania. I have been a nurse for 12 years and my passion is working as Rehab nurse in the controversial world of addiction. I have worked in nursing homes, hospitals, doctors offices, rehabs, and skilled nursing facilities and I always seem to end up working with the Drug and Alcohol community. I have experienced many things over the years working with the Drug and Alcohol community. There is never dull moment and your day is never routine. You have to be on your toes and prepared for ANYTHING to happen. Addiction nursing has been rewarding in so many ways. I have been fortunate enough in my career to have helped many many people of all ages in their road to recovery. I have also endured alot of heartache due to the loss of many clients over the years due to the end of their vicious battle with addiction. I am excited to start blogging and I look forward to feedback on my blogs!
