I'm a sort of "jack of all trades, master of none". My academic background is in physics and I came close to a second degree in biology. While trying to decide on a career path over the years, I've held a wide variety of odd jobs; shopping cart pusher, movie theater concession worker, stocker in a fireworks warehouse, overnight hotel auditor, zoo gift shop employee, and cook. (both in a sports bar and in a fast food restaurant)

I spent a few semesters studying education, thinking I wanted to pursue a career as a high school science teacher. After gaining some classroom experience in a school for "at risk" teens, I decided that teaching wasn't for me. I then proceeded to study mechanical engineering, but found that my lack of organization and inability to work as part of a team were not compatable with that subject. I'm currently studying applied mathematics and computer science. Third time's the charm right? :D

When not studying or working, I enjoy the outdoors. I love hiking, astronomy, swimming, and running. I also enjoy the indoor activities of drawing/painting, playing chess, pool/billiards, reading, and raquetball if I'm at the gym. Oh and I'm trying to learn to play the keyboard. Well, thats enough rambling about myself for now...
