I am a married mother of two kids in college. I am a "new" mom as I married my kids dad five years ago - it is the second marriage for both of us but I had no children in my previous marriage.
I have been a secretary for the last 24 years. I left full time employment at the end of 2009 as my husband and I decided it would better benefit our family for me to be a part time stay at home wife and mother, and it has worked out very well for us. So technically I am employed part-time, but actually work full time, and I love every minute of it!
I am also a very avid believer in the unconditional love that pets bring to your life, enriching every moment! I am an advocate for adopting homeless pets, a passion of mine that has developed over the last few years as my eyes were opened to the reality of how many wonderful pets are euthanized every day in this country and how senseless that is. I lost my beloved 13 year old chihuahua, Jazz, earlier this year and a short time afterward we adopted two homeless chihuahua mixes, which has been a very rewarding experience.
