I want to be an accomplished writer and a famous artist. Really, what I want is to be creative. And passionate, and joyful, and free. Anyone familiar with Danielle LaPorte’s fabulous book “The Desire Map: A Guide to Creating Goals with Soul” will recognize these as my core desire feelings. My ultimate goals. Just as anyone wanting to make a lot of money really wants the security that comes from not worrying about how they are going to pay their bills and still be able to have a little fun, I really want to have the ability to freely, passionately, and joyfully create.
I’m smart…enough. I didn’t graduate from college although I did take enough courses to earn a degree. Except for algebra, feh. Plus, I’m old enough to have a lot of life experience (I’m a grandmother of three wonderful grandchildren). Everything I’ve read about writing for the internet says to “find your niche”. How? Start with what you know, what you’re passionate about. For me that would be art. My other passions are healthy living and the environment. And learning. Always learning. I believe it's important.
When I start writing I discover that I do know a lot. And, more importantly in this day and age, I know where to find the information I don’t know. I love learning new things and passing that information on.

This is a recipe for a traditional French recipe. This one tends to follow the more authentic method of preparing this delicious vegetable stew.
