Update, where have I been?
I haven't written any hubs or even logged into my pages in a long time. I had the initial flurry of activity and than just lost the desire to sit and write. It happens. I have plenty to write about. Just getting in the right frame to do it has not been a priority. I'll be back.
I stared writing hubs on the reccomendationof my daughter. Sunstreeks. I am learning but a little slower than I used to be. My latest project is a fishing website.
Northwest Fishing Hotspots. My plan is not to make it an everyday time drain. Just a place to start when planning trips and a place to link all my fishing hubs. So far it is still under construction. I also started a fishing blog. Not sure what to do with that yet except complain about how hard the website is to do and that I haven't been fishing lately.
I have lived all of my life in the greater Seattle area with the exception of a 6 year stint in the military. I am the worlds greatest fisherman. There is no argument. My wife and I have been married for 32 years. We have three grown children who are doing very well in their own lives.
We have a boat and RV and spend a lot of time at the coast. We are fortunate to live in an area where outdoor activities are almost limitless.
I am a gymrat. I like working out and keeping myself in above average physical condition. At my age it gets kind of important. I have had my share of health issues and multiple visits to the gym sure beats multiple visits to the doctor.
I am not a guide, just a recreational fisherman. But my boat is never wanting for crew. Between all of us we seem to have just about everything there is to fish for around here pretty well dialed in.
I belong to a loose group of sportsman who regularly get together at the coast. Pretty much year round we have something to do there. Monthly clam digs from November till May. Bottomfishing from about april to october. Mostly dependent on weather. We have sturgeon in may and june. Salmon from july till september and tuna from july till october. And the crab are there all the time with the best months august through december . Surf perch in the spring. Many of our trips the species and seasons overlap so we may easily end up landing several on the same weekend.
I got the fishin bug at about age 4 and it has been a part of my life since. So I am writing a lot of hubs on fishing and camping equipment. That is the stuff I know and use.
