Hi, I'm Steve, a sponsor and volunteer with the Dog Tags for Kids program who supports our troops and their families! While there are others that fill the slot of "hero", the labor of love continues behind the scenes, trying to simply make a difference. It's not only the cause itself, but the groundswell of support, generosity, and inspiration that help us persevere in our endeavor! On a more personal note: Although I started with Squidoo in an attempt to raise awareness of the Dog Tags for Kids, my lenses have expanded beyond that program despite my authoring skills! My favorites, dealing with subjects near and dear to me are written by the heart and though I felt compelled to do them for myself, I hope that some will find enjoyment in reading them. My Squid Art and Squidoodles have become quite a passion, and I'm grateful to those who appreciate my wacky sense of humor, and find a home for some of my creations. I thank my family and friends for their love, support and encouragement!
