Hi -- thanks for checking me out. I am Steve McLellan -- known in my house as The Laughing Bear. I am a humorist, freestyle metaphysician, slackmaster, and otter wrangler. In a prior life -- (ok, it was this life, just at earlier points) -- I have been a lawyer, radio and television producer and host, writer, and class clown. I use Squidoo to share cool ideas, experiences, and items I have found along my way. I try to do it with a healthy dose of affectionate irreverence - the world is just far too serious for my taste. Why "The Laughing Bear"? The bear is my power animal -- it has been for many years. Now that I live on California's central coast among bears and otters (my wife is an otter) I can truly say I am home. And from here I hope to share some fun with all of you.
