After life and work experiences not finished yet, now re-training for a new career, I thot (thought) I would write. Raised by an English teacher and with some training of late,it appears that I have some skills in that venue. Lots of thots, subject to jots, dissolves the clots, of knowledge knots. I am a bad poet and promise not to go there. I look forward to contributing what I may here.
The acronym Thotwrite is derived from Thot (as in thought) and write, conveying the idea of communicating that thought. Since Thot (or Thoth) is the Egyptian god of writing, a person may think that I had chosen this acronym to elude to the notion that I think of myself as a god of writing, but that notion is far from the truth of the matter. I do not think of myself as a god of writing but am rather humble in nature, neither am I an expert in the art of writing. Part of the reason I am registered on this website is to learn more about writing.
Several years ago the word Thot came to my attention as an online identity which was used by another person in a different venue. I liked the word and have kept it in my memory. When I signed up on this website that word came to mind, but after some research of it I discovered that it was being used for commercial purposes and that I may not be able to use it because of that. I started to think of derivatives of the word and came up with Thotwrite, with the definitive background for its use expressed above.
I do believe in quality output though and writing quality material takes time. That is what I am going to try to do here. My hubs may not be as prolific to suit some... but wait for them, they may be worth it.
